Rudest Characters at Universal Studios

My favorite joke from the Horror Makeup Show is “this isn’t Disney; we don’t have to be nice to you.” Not gonna lie- I love that this is a theme with several of the characters around the park as well.

Sounds like a negative, I know. But it’s not. The characters who are rude are so much fun!!

If you don’t mind some slight, playful bullying, be sure to check these guys out:

Beetlejuice- he’s going to hit on your wife, insult your kid, and make slightly inappropriate jokes

Megatron- no-nonsense, seems annoyed by your existence, a little intimidating, to be honest

The Mirror at Madame Malkin’s- want to know how your outfit really looks? Madame Malkin’s doesn’t hold back

Shrek and Donkey- all good fun, but they’re not going to sugarcoat things. Tons of fun to interact with, and burping on your children is totally acceptable behavior

The Grinch- of course he’s seasonal and over on the Islands of Adventure side, but he’s everything you’d expect the Grinch to be!

Squidward- he may not talk, but his looks say it all

The Simpsons- you can meet the Simpsons characters, sure, but the rudest way to interact with the Simpsons is by answering the phone- “Answer the phone, Dingus. It’s for you!” Seriously- if you see this phone, pick it up!

Gringotts goblins- if you’re exchanging Muggle money for Gringotts bank notes, be prepared to be talked down to. The goblin will surely let you know how stupid Muggles tend to be (all in good fun, of course)
