Top 3 A/C Spots at Universal Studios (Yes, I mean Air Conditioning)
Florida is hot. There’s no getting around it, unless you happen to vacation during the random 3 days of winter they experience each year, but good luck knowing when those days might fall.
So the best way to deal with the heat is to plan ahead. And by that, I mean plan some cool-down time into your theme park day.
It is VITAL to know the best A/C spots at Universal Studios. Sure, all indoor locations will give you some relief from the heat. But these spots just hit different.
Top A/C Spot #1
The Bourne Stuntacular
Not only is this a great show, it’s a great place to cool off. Plus, during the show, you get to sit down. There are water effects, wind effects, etc., too. If you need a break from the sun, this is where I’d go first.
Top A/C Spot #2
Men In Black
Like I said before, this spot just hits different. The queue is cold. Touching the railing feels like some beautiful team member handed you a delicious piece of ice. It’s magnificent. The only problem with this one is the line is usually relatively short. While I’d normally say this is a good thing, that means your A/C break is going to be short-lived. On the plus side, that also means it’s no big deal to hop back in line and ride it as many times as you want!
Top A/C Spot #3
Jimmy Fallon
If you’re new to Universal Studios- yes, Jimmy Fallon has a ride. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but I think it’s fun. And the air conditioning is cold. There are wind and water effects on this ride, too. And let’s talk about the brilliance of this queue! Once you get upstairs, you can hang out in the lounge area- you don’t necessarily have to jump right in line. There are comfortable places to sit down, games to play, and sometimes the Ragtime Gals come out for some live entertainment.
You can’t go wrong with any of these options. That’s one of the many reasons I love Universal- most of the ride queues are indoors and there are plenty of spots to cool down, sit down, and relax.
