Ride Spotlight: Fast & Furious-Supercharged

The Fast & Furious ride gets a lot of hate. And I get it, I do. BUT!! If you go into it with a good attitude, and you look for the humor, it’s honestly a great time.

What is Fast & Furious- Supercharged?

Fast & Furious- Supercharged is a ride on a party bus that goes awry. If you’re a fan of the Fast & Furious movie franchise, you’ll understand the cheese and dramatics of this ride. However, it is neither fast nor furious.

Actually, Jax says it’s boring. If you’re into cool cars, the ride queue is pretty sweet, though.

However! I think it’s hilarious. The pre-show is entertaining, and they say “family” a million times, which I always get a kick out of. Then when you’re loading onto the bus, the music they play gets me amped! It’s definitely a party bus.

Once you’re on the ride, you’ll stop by the “party,” which, admittedly, is showing its age. But the Rock makes a joke about the size of his gun, then turns and smiles at the party bus.  What other theme park gives you that kind of humor??

Then the actual ride starts, and it’s essentially a simulator with an admittedly lame storyline.

Don’t go into it with high expectations, and don’t wait more than about 20 minutes for it. But if you do these things, and you approach it with a sense of humor, you can certainly have a good time.
